Crisis Management

Problematic of risk management in big organizations is usually an attempt to create a simulation of the possible outcomes and prediction of future risks. It takes a lot of time and gathering a vast amount of data, and machining them in AI or similar systems, and yet the risks and crises are often miscalculated and missed. Simple indicators are not enough to tackle the complex real-life situations in which new issues are arising with any new shift in the system. Furthermore, the wrong approach or unsuitable handling of the problem at matter could only make the system fail completely. Analogously, if we address the issue in the entire system instead of one part which has been affected, we could push the entire system to a collapse. The software can be more of a problem than a tool for problem-solving since the analytical skills of the personnel could be not enough to properly read the results and bring about the solution which can fix the problem. ISO 31000 cannot actually help in solving issues that arise in organizations, as it can only provide guidelines and frameworks in which problems could potentially be solved. The biggest problems arise in big organizations since they are cumbersome, slow, and often too tightly griped to inefficient organizational systems. A hierarchical organization system is the biggest bottleneck for swift and efficient problem-solving. Micros and SMEs on the other hand lack the funds and analytical skills or know-how to solve problems in efficient ways, so they usually drown, although they do have an advantage over big organizations, as they are more flexible and can change their course or direction in business processes. Every system should be treated as an organism or an organic entity. Every problem, crisis, or potential risk should be treated as one of a kind and the solution should be utterly original based on a set of variables that arise from the problem at hand. Even big organizations could change their course of action if they take into account the most flexible parts of the system. Certainly, not one AI system can replace the human mind (creativity) and instinct when it comes to problem-solving.
